San Juan, P.R. Served 9 years in the US Army from 1985 to 1994. My military Occupational Specialty was 45B Weapons and Artillery Mechanic. Stationed at Ft Bragg, NC, and Ft Irwin, CA. Served overseas tours to Korea, Germany, and deployment to the Middle East. Raul Reyes has been involved with USVSG since 2021, volunteering for events such as Memorial Day, 9/11 Commemoration, and Veterans Day. and the USVSG Kids Day Event at Cora Harper Center. Raul Reyes has worked at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Yermo Annex, since 1995, starting as an Artillery Mechanic and holding the position of Industrial Engineering Technician since 2010. He is happily married to Viola Reyes and has 4 children and 11 grandkids. One of Reyes' grandsons is Marcos Nava Jr., who plays for the Barstow High School Aztecs Football Team. His daughter, Stacy Santerelli (Marcos' mom), asked about the football team doing community work with USVSG, and the President, Herman Wagner, thought it would be a great idea. The football team has helped USVSG during the Memorial Day Commemoration Event, USVG Kids Day Event, and 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony sponsored by USVSG.
