LEONARD WILLIAMS
A retired U.S. Army Combat Veteran with 21 years of honorable service, Mr. Williams continues to serve his community with the same dedication and leadership that defined his military career.
Leonard currently serves as the Area 5 School Board Trustee for the Barstow Unified School District. He is also the Executive Director of the Barstow Youth Sports Coalition, a nonprofit that advocates for all youth sports in the area. Through this organization, he established a youth boxing program that sponsors 15 boys and girls, ages 6 to 17, every two months, helping instill discipline, confidence, and resilience.
In addition, Mr. Williams is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Desert Sanctuary Domestic Violence Shelter, where he supports efforts to protect and empower victims of domestic abuse.
He also serves as a board member for the Barstow Community Coalition, organizing impactful initiatives such as the Veterans Connect Resource Fair and community symposiums on Human Trafficking, Fentanyl Awareness, and Youth Suicide Prevention. Further demonstrating his commitment to service, Leonard is the Lieutenant Governor of Division 36 Kiwanis, mentoring 12 Kiwanis clubs across San Bernardino and Riverside counties—guiding leaders who share his passion for improving the lives of children and families.
